We need your support to raise awareness about this alarming situation. But the Middle Eastern Christians don’t have the luxury of time. If nothing major and effective is done immediately, by combining the available statistics exponentially, the region will reach the 0% (zero percent) of Christian population before the year 2035.

"Reflections" from the President's Desk
It is necessary to underscore that the roots of Christianity are in the Middle East and that Eastern Christianity in all its dimensions is the primary source of the Roman Catholic Church. Eastern Christianity—which includes the Syriac (Antiochian), Byzantine (Orthodox), Assyrian (Nestorian), Coptic, as well as Armenian churches—thus nurtures all of Christianity, which is why it is so critical to defend and protect it at all costs. Now more than ever, Christians that are part of these various churches, must remain in this fragile and increasingly threatened Orient because, and this must be stated unabashedly, they are the guardians of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This “East” therefore must preserve the Christian presence and towards that end, One Voice for Christians proposes the following initiatives, which will secure our millennial legacies.
First, to launch a vast socio-economic action to help the poor strata of Christian populations throughout the Middle East that constitute the remaining demographic reservoir for the Christian presence, by financing productive projects enabling these believers to hold on to their roots and their land, especially in rural areas, because emigration to cities is often the precursor of emigration out of the “East.” It would therefore be necessary to mobilize great fortunes (Christian as well as those who truly care about us); guide the use of mortmain properties ("wakf" in Arabic) that are preserved as charitable endowments to serve those in need; and design projects that ensure a dignified life for Christians along with similar activities that will assist their neighbors and Muslim brothers living on the same soil.
Second, to create a working Research Center for the Preservation of Eastern Christianity, which will be an informative and legal reference. Through this mechanism, One Voice for Christianswill become the spokesperson for the cause of Christians in the East, by preparing scientific and authentic materials that will shed light on the civilizing aspect of Eastern Christians and their cultural, humanistic, political and economic roles. The institution will further defend the cause of Eastern Christians in order to improve their living conditions, safeguard their pluralism by promoting a dialogue of cultures, religions and civilizations, and reflect the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights.” As the key articles of that seminal document state: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights” [Article 1], and “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms … without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status” [Article 2], which need to be re-emphasized to sensibilize one and all on the importance of “Eastern Christians” for Christianity.
Third, to work for the development of international relations through diplomatic and organizational means, as well as create relationships with émigré populations with the express purpose of strengthening existing networks of friends and sympathizers to our cause, all to fulfill our preservation goals.

His Excellency Antoine Kalaydjian is Co-Founder, President and CEO of the "One Voice Foundation". Lawyer, born in Beirut, Lebanon currently being the General Manager of "Pianos Kalaydjian". Was the Co-founder of Levant Foundation, Humanitas Association and Forum d'Orient pour la Diversite. Also the Co-founder of Assembly of Eastern Christians, member of Caritas. Member of the International Board of the Sovereign Imperial and Royal House of Ghassan and Director of Ecumenical Dialogue and Coordinator of the projects for the Christians of the Middle East.

Born in Lebanon. Educated in the USA. Leading Scholar. Doctor in Foreign Affairs by the University of Virginia where he also taught and was assistant dean in International Studies. Associate Political Scientist at the RAND Corporation. Fellow at the UCLA. Hoover Fellow at Stanford University (under the U.S. State Department Title VIII Program) Senior Fellow at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies. Khalil Melhem, Esq.
Represents local and international clients in Lebanon in all aspects of legal matters. His firm has connections with several international law firms, exchanging law practice and expertise.
His experience is in general corporate law and trade disputes, including commercial representation, insurance and re-insurance matters, bankruptcy cases, and real estate.
Pioneer in introducing franchise litigation before Beirut Courts. He serves as outside counsel for international law firms in support of litigation, regulatory actions, and compliance matters in Lebanon and other jurisdictions.
Before establishing his own law firm in mid-2013, he was the senior lawyer and manager of Hanna, Harfouche, Boulos & Sanbar law offices in Beirut, Lebanon, for 19 years. Co-Founder of the "One-Voice Foundation".

Born in Germany. Secretary General of the WEA - World Evangelical Alliance, President of the International Council of the International Society for Human Rights, and Associate Secretary General for Theological Concerns (Theology, Theological Education, Intrafaith and Interfaith Relations, Religious Freedom, Research), which networks churches with appr. 600 million conservative Protestant Christians, chair of its theological commission, and director of the International Institute for Religious Freedom (Bonn, Cape Town, Colombo, Brasilia), the largest research network for religious freedom and against persecution of Christians and other religions and world views. Born in Germany. Best selling author, historian and journalist. President of the Prinz Gharios Stiftung (Prince Gharios Foundation in Germany). The "Huffington Post" described him as "one of the most important religious historians in the world". His 41 books were translated into 16 languages and reached a total circulation of nearly two million copies. He has worked as a multi-award winning documentary filmmaker in the United States and the United Kingdom and is today regarded as a leading specialist journalist and author for church history topics in German-speaking countries. Since 1999, has been accredited as a journalist at the Press Room of the Holy See. Is a member of the international board of the Royal House of Ghassan. Grand Collar of the Equestrian Order of Michael Archangel.
Ultimate Goals
The ultimate goal of the “One Voice for Christians’” initiative is the creation of the “MECC - Middle Eastern Christian Council” (or “OCC - Oriental Christian Council”) to strongly represent all denominations of Middle Eastern Christians as a major international political and diplomatic player, and the “MECC Observatory” to centralize all the information regarding persecuted Christians in the Middle East.
The Council
The Oriental Christians (or Middle Eastern Christians) are weak for a lack of designation, identity, and, hence, representation. The Ecumenical dialogue has to go on and will take time, may be generations. But the Middle Eastern Christians don’t have the luxury of time. If nothing major and effective is done immediately, by combining the available statistics exponentially, the region will reach the 0% (zero percent) of Christian population before the year 2035.
A solution to guarantee the survival of the Oriental Christians is the foundation of an official and democratic international organization (an IGO – Intergovernmental Organization – a sovereign subject of international law), based on UN standards and with UN representation, congregating all of the Christian denominations present in the Middle East as an assembly, a Middle Eastern Christian Council, which would take care of Christian interests in the region, especially providing immediate relief to the Christian refugees, and pleading as an observer organization to the UN. Unifying the Middle Eastern Christian voices and needs without interfering in the (temporal and theological) sovereignty of each denomination.
This organization will also lead and optimize the interfaith dialogue in the region with Muslims and Jews since will represent the ensemble of the Oriental Christians.
